Don't be an asshole. Be respectful and play fair. Follow the rules or face the appropriate punishment.
One Master Account
Each player may register only one.
Manual Play
MuhRO Turbo is the only automation exception.
Permanent Means Permanent
Banned accounts and their progress are not restored.
Important Notes
- All rules apply across every platform we operate including the game, Discord, website, wiki and forums.
- For regular support players can use the appropriate in-game support channels or the Support section of our forums. Suggestions and bug reports should be posted in their relevant forum sections.
- Punishments may be issued immediately without prior warning if a rule violation is suspected.
- Staff members are human and mistakes can happen. If you believe you were punished incorrectly send your ban appeal from the email address registered to the affected Master Account to [email protected]. Ban appeals are not handled through the forum Support section.
Permanent suspensions and appeals
A permanent suspension applies to every existing account owned or controlled by the player. Those accounts cannot be recovered.
Creating or using another account while permanently suspended will result in that account being suspended on sight.
An appeal after a confirmed permanent suspension for RMT, botting or severe economic bug abuse can only request permission to return with one new Master Account and start from nothing. Severe economic bug abuse means intentionally using a bug to create or duplicate items or Zeny that should not exist.
When an appeal for one of these violations is approved the banned accounts, characters, items, currency and progress are never restored. This restriction protects the game economy.
Master Account and Game Accounts
- You are allowed to have only one Master Account. This is the account you use to log in to our homepage and patcher.
- You may create as many Game Accounts as you want for in-game use.
- After registering you must verify your email address.
- You must join our Discord server and link your Discord account to your Master Account.
- Each user is allowed to register with only one Discord account.
- Staying in our Discord server helps us keep your account verified and ensures you stay informed about important updates and events.
- Leaving the server may cause issues with your access or account status. Staying in the server is strongly recommended.
- For your own safety do not share or trade accounts.
Breaking these rules will result in all excess accounts being banned at minimum.
Fair Play and Community Conduct
Players are expected to treat each other fairly and respectfully across all interactions on our platforms.
Client modifications
Do not modify GRF files to alter NPCs, character classes, monsters or headgear sprites by resizing them or changing their appearance. This rule applies to all gameplay and is not limited to PvP.
Names and player-created content
Appropriate language and content are required anywhere players can enter, upload, display or communicate text or images.
This includes account names, character names, party names, guild names, guild emblems, shop names, chat room titles, messages, profiles and all other player-created or player-controlled content visible through our services.
Insults, profanity, harassment, hateful content, sexual content, impersonation and other offensive or disruptive material are prohibited in all such content.
- Listen to the Admins and GMs.
- Do not scam other players.
- Do not hinder other players' gameplay.
- Do not support MVPs with skills such as Heal or Pneuma.
- Do not kill-steal. Accidents may happen so apologize when they do. MVPs are free-for-all.
- Do not impersonate others.
- Participate in events with only one character per player or Master Account.
- Use English in public channels such as global and support. Use the appropriate channels for other languages.
Penalties may include temporary or permanent exclusion from our services based on the severity of the offense.
Toxic Behavior
Toxic behavior in any form is not tolerated. This includes harassment, bullying, promoting harmful behavior or supporting individuals or groups that promote harm.
Players are expected to contribute positively to the community and help maintain a safe and welcoming environment.
Direct or indirect involvement with toxic behavior may result in permanent suspension of all your accounts.
War of Emperium and Battlegrounds
Players are expected to behave no differently in PvP modes. Fight respectfully!
- Guild icons must be unique, clearly visible and not a duplicate of another guild's icon.
- Do not deliberately hinder others with friend requests, trade requests or similar distractions.
- Guilds are prohibited from negotiating or forming formal alliances with other guilds.
- Players must actively participate in War of Emperium and Battlegrounds. Repeated non-participation, arriving unprepared or deliberately avoiding participation may lead to permanent exclusion from events.
- Sabotaging your own team by feeding or supporting the enemy is not tolerated.
Penalties may include temporary or permanent exclusion from War of Emperium and Battlegrounds based on the severity of the offense. Severe violations may result in exclusion from the server.
Real Money Trading (RMT)
We never tolerate real money trading. This includes selling in-game items, currency or services for real money.
Buying, selling or supporting RMT will result in permanent suspension of all your accounts.
Item Loss and Item Recovery
Players are responsible for all NPC interactions that consume, destroy or exchange items such as refining, enchanting and upgrading. We do not reverse NPC actions.
Eligible
Genuine accidents such as an accidental NPC sale or drop.
Not eligible
Intentional risk-taking or abuse. This includes refining without a safe option, gambling for cheaper outcomes or deliberate upgrading, exchanging and crafting attempts.
How to request a recovery
- Check Master Storage and Master Inventory on the homepage.
- Check Guild Storages in the game.
- If the item is still missing buy an Item Recovery Ticket with ID 50204 from the Muh Donation Shop and use it by double-clicking it.

Create a request in the Support section of our forums and include:
- Master Account, Game Account and character information
- Full item details including its name, refine level, grade, cards, enchants and Item IDs when possible
- A non-AI drawing that shows what you did. It can be any quality and can be hand-drawn or made on a computer. Drawings are collected and published.
Recovery is only possible for recently lost items that still appear in our logs. Items lost years ago or no longer present in our logs cannot be restored. The used ticket will be refunded when recovery is impossible.
Recovery tickets have no priority and are handled by Muh when time allows. A funnier drawing may motivate Muh to work on it sooner.
Bug Exploiting
A bug is unintended behavior in the game. Exploiting a bug for personal gain is forbidden.
- Report any bug immediately including one that grants unexpected amounts of Zeny, items or experience.
- Report urgent bugs that require immediate attention directly to the staff.
- Confirmed exploitation may result in temporary or permanent suspension to protect the server and its economy.
Severe economic abuse
Severe economic bug abuse that creates or duplicates items or Zeny will result in permanent suspension of all accounts owned or controlled by the player.
Third-Party Tools, Botting and Unattended Play
Your character must be actively controlled by you at all times.
Allowed
- MuhRO Turbo is the only approved tool that may automate or combine game inputs.
- Allowed Turbo features include ALT + right-click.
- If Turbo is missing a function you need you may suggest it to the staff.
- Keyboards, mice and their buttons are allowed for normal manual play.
- Rebinding a mouse button to one in-game input is allowed.
Prohibited
- Outside Turbo no software, hardware function or external aid may automate, repeat or generate game input without a separate physical action from the player for each input.
- Mouse or keyboard macros that perform multiple or repeated inputs are prohibited.
- This includes bots, scripts, macros, automation programs, programmable device functions and input repeaters.
- Physical objects that hold down or repeatedly activate a key or button are prohibited. Placing a weight on a keyboard is prohibited.
Any violation of this section will result in permanent suspension of all accounts owned or controlled by the player. None of those accounts can be recovered through an appeal. An approved appeal can only grant permission to start over with a new Master Account under the terms in Important Notes.
Hacking
Hacking is the unauthorized manipulation of our services to disrupt gameplay.
Any hacking attempt will result in a permanent ban and loss of all access to our services.
Donation Fraud
Donation fraud occurs when a player makes a donation, receives rewards and then requests a chargeback to reclaim the money.
Violators will be permanently banned. Their in-game names and email addresses may be made public for safety reasons.
