Save it into the emblem folder in your client directory, that is where the in game file dialog looks for it.

How to use it in game

Build the emblem here and download the BMP (static) or the GIF (animated).
Put the file in the emblem folder inside your client folder, that is where the client looks. If the folder is not there yet, just create it next to the game exe.
In game, as guild leader: press Alt+G for the guild menu, hit the Edit button and select the file.
Purple #FF00FF shows up as transparent. The server also refuses an emblem that is more than 80% purple, so keep some artwork in there.
